Dog Training & Behavioral Solutions

Private In-Home Dog Training

Helping puppies and adult dogs develop practical life skills, while supporting families working through behavior challenges such as fear, reactivity, aggression, and resource guarding.
As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, I provide science-based, positive reinforcement training tailored to each dog and household. My goal is to help you better understand your dog, build clear communication, and create calmer, more reliable behavior in everyday life.
Training takes place in your home, where your dog’s real-life environment and routines can be addressed directly.
Serving Harvard, MA and surrounding communities.

                                Private Dog Training

Private training allows us to focus on your dog’s individual needs in the environment where behavior happens — your home and daily routine.

Sessions are tailored to each dog and family. We work on practical skills that help dogs succeed in everyday life while also addressing underlying behavior challenges when they are present.

Training focuses not only on teaching skills, but also on understanding why behaviors occur and how to guide your dog toward calmer, more appropriate responses.

                                     Who I Help

I work with dogs and families dealing with a variety of training and behavior challenges, including:

• leash reactivity toward dogs or people
• fearful or anxious behavior
• aggression or resource guarding
• difficulty settling in the home
• pulling on leash or unreliable recall
• puppy foundation training and life skills

Every dog and family is different. My goal is to understand the underlying causes of behavior and develop a practical training plan that works for your household.

                                    How Training Works

Training begins with a private consultation in your home.

During this session we:

• review your dog’s history and behavior concerns
• observe your dog in their home environment
• begin working on practical training exercises
• develop a clear plan for moving forward

Follow-up sessions build on these foundations and help you apply new skills in real-life situations.
