We are a rapidly growing, locally owned and operated dog walking/dog training/pet sitting company. We offer services including off leash hikes, solo leash walks, drop in visits, custom dog/cat visits and training. This is a perfect opportunity for the person that needs supplemental income, loves caring for animals and enjoys hiking.
We will provide a paid training and start up kit.
We are looking for an animal lover to add to our team who:
- Has a valid Driver’s License, reliable and fully insured vehicle (preferably 4WD), and a smart phone
- Has an excellent communication skills
- Can be available to work between 9am and 3pm
- 21+ years old and legally available to work in USA
- Pass criminal background check
- Ability to walk 2+ miles daily and lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently year-round in all types of weather
- Must live in Harvard or surrounding area
- Possess strong work ethics, communication skills and time management
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport dogs to and from their homes
- Ensure they have water and feed them if required
- Walking single or multiple dogs in various weather conditions
- Picking up and disposing of dog waste
- Monitor dog interactions and body language, and keep dogs and those around safe
- Provide exercise, treats, pats and love to the dogs
- Scoop/change cat’s litter box, feed them and provide fresh water
- Provide regular updates to clients which includes sharing photos, videos using our portal
- Notify pet owners if pet become sick or injured before, during or after walk/visit
