Adventure Hikes
Sniffing, chasing, exploring, socializing, and learning new skills are important for our dogs' physical and mental health.
Being in a different environment other than the backyard, making new friends, and learning social rules, helps our dogs improve their confidence.
With our dog adventure specialist’s supervision, your dog will socialize with other dogs, explore trails, and play games, engaging their senses and minds.
Our goal is to keep your dogs safe and ensure they have the best time of their lives on every hiking adventure.
One hour adventure hike – $36

Dog Visits and Daily Walks
We offer individual daily visits for your fur friend that are customized to meet his/her specific needs.
Our visit may include walks, feedings, playtime, and, of course, love and cuddles.
Your four-legged friend will receive the individual attention, love, and care they deserve.

Cat Visits
Relax, knowing that we are caring for your cat while you are traveling.
Cats are independent animals that interact with humans on their own terms.
Cats can become anxious when left on their own for a long period of time and feel better with a human’s visit.
We will feed them, clean their litter box, and administer medication if required.
And of course, an abundance of love and snuggles will be given.
One cat visit – $23

Vacation Care
If you are away, we will be there for your pup to take him out on a walk around the block, on a hike, or play in the yard and keep him/her company with plenty of love and cuddles.
We cater our visit to you and your dog’s needs, so you can relax knowing that your pup is well taken care of.
We are able to visit your dog as many times a day as necessary and stay as long as you need.
By request and with no additional charge, we can administer medications, bring in the mail, and water indoor plants.
Please note that we don’t offer overnight care.

Dog Hiking Adventure
- We pick up the dogs at their homes and transport them to a local trail to hike and play with other pups.
- Our dog handlers hike with dogs for one hour and transport them back home.
- Pick-up and drop-off time frames are 10:30–2:30. We aim to hit the trails around noon.
- The number of dogs in a group varies from 2 to 4.
- We do our best to group our dogs by personality, size, and play style.
- We have treats, water, and toys available for dogs.
- We pick up the dog’s waste and dispose of it properly.
- We reinforce recall and some other behaviors that we found are helpful for dogs to learn while hiking.
- We wipe your dog’s paws and towel dry after swimming/rain.
- By the owner’s request, we can feed and crate your dog upon returning home.
- We will keep you updated with your dog’s activities and send you daily pictures of your dog’s adventures.
- For the safety of your dogs, we require you to provide a fitted harness, a collar with the name/ID tag, and a leash.
- We don’t use retractable leashes.
- We ask that you provide a towel to dry off your dog and leave it by the entrance
Important Stuff
HOW IT WORKS
1. We start with a complementary meet and greet at your home, where we can learn more about your pet(s) and determine if Pawesome Tails would be a good match for you and your pet’s needs.
2. Set up your account. We use software that enables you to create your account, register your pet(s) and let us know your pets routines. We need to know everything about your pet(s) to provide them with the best care.
3. Schedule needed services.
Using your online account, you can view daily updates with notes and pictures on how your pet(s) did with us, as well as communicate with the assigned pet professional.
PAYMENT
>>FOR ON-GOING-SERVICES: Payment is due when you receive an invoice for services or at the end of the given week in which you had service. All invoices are processed at the end of every week for the previous week’s services. Your credit card information is stored with full encryption.
>>FOR VACATION VISITS: Invoices are processed within 48 hours. If vacation takes longer than 10 days, an invoice will be processed at the end of a given week.
Credit card information is not stored in our system. All billing information is processed through Stripe.
WEATHER CONDITION
We are equipped for all weather conditions. However, in extreme weather conditions, we should consider safety first.
>>FOR ON-GOING-CLIENTS: If you have a visit scheduled with us, we will be there for your pet. With critical cold, heat, or high wind, we may shorten our Adventure Hikes. If the temperature is above 90F with bright sun, we may modify our time to start earlier. On hot summer days, we try to keep dogs on shadier trails and near the water. If the temperature is below 20 °F, we may shorten our Adventure Hikes. Your dog’s activity level, breed, age and health condition affect temperature tolerance. We monitor the dogs and pay attention to the signals they give us.
>>FOR VACATION VISITS: Regardless of the weather condition, we will be there for your pet. However, we may adjust our schedule, but we will be there!
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please note that we will come for visits unless agreed otherwise, including during inclement weather.
We have strictly enforced our cancellation policy.
We value our pet professionals’ time. They have other jobs, family, and their pets, whom they could be spending time with. They got paid the full fee for missed or late canceled service out of respect for their valuable time. Please understand we put a lot of effort into scheduling: planning for a week ahead, grouping the dogs by play style and temperament, scheduling assignments, and planning our routes with destinations. We want your pups to have the most enjoyable experience.
>>FOR ON-GOING WEEKLY SERVICES: Any service canceled or changed without 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 100% of the reserved service amount.
>>FOR PETS VACATION VISITS: Except for the holiday period, any service canceled or changed without 48 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. Any service canceled or changed during holiday periods has to be made up to seven (7) days in advance of the first scheduled visit. If you fail to do so, a cancellation fee will be charged equal to 50% of the total reservation. If you cancel any part of your scheduled services, such as ending the reservation early, you are responsible for paying for the initially reserved services. Services have to be reserved with a valid credit card.
>We require your dogs to be up-to-date on their immunizations.
>We strongly suggest using tick/flea preventive medicine.
>We are bonded and insured. Our pet professionals go through a CORI background check.
